    Vave Canada Rules

This page gathers every rule that applies when you open an account at Vave, deposit cryptocurrency, play in the casino or place a sports bet. Read it before you start so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.

Access to the platform is restricted to adults of 18 years and over; where the province you live in sets a higher minimum age for gambling, that higher age applies. Last updated: September 2026.

This page describes the house rules in plain language and is general information only. It is not legal advice. If you need to know what applies to your particular situation, consult a lawyer. Where this summary and the terms shown inside your account differ, the terms inside your account prevail.

    AML & KYC policy

Vave applies an anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing policy (Anti-Money Laundering, AML) together with player identity verification (Know Your Customer, KYC). The policy applies to every user of the platform, whatever cryptocurrency they choose and however much they deposit.

    1. General principles

    • Deposits are accepted only from a wallet that belongs to the account holder. Third-party deposits are not permitted and are not covered if they are lost.
    • One account per person, per IP address and per household. Duplicate accounts are blocked and their balances may be frozen until a review is complete.
    • Using the platform to convert, move or disguise the origin of funds is prohibited. Detecting it leads to the immediate closure of the account.
    • Transactions are monitored continuously for unusual patterns, such as a deposit with no gaming activity followed by an immediate withdrawal request.

    2. When verification is requested

Registration asks for three fields and no documents. Even so, the verification team can ask for further information in the following cases:

    • Before the first withdrawal is paid, as described in the payment section of this site. You have 14 days to complete verification once it has been requested.
    • When there is a reasonable suspicion that the player is under 18, or under the minimum age set by their province.
    • Where there are signs of multiple accounts, bonus abuse, collusion between players or the use of automated software.
    • When a transaction originates from a wallet that appears on a sanctions or high-risk list.
    • Whenever the applicable law requires it.

    3. Documents that may be requested

    • A valid government-issued photo ID: passport, provincial driver's licence or provincial photo card.
    • A recent selfie holding that ID so that it is clearly visible, or a short live video call.
    • Proof of address no more than three months old, such as a utility bill or a bank statement.
    • Proof that the wallet used belongs to you, or a statement on the source of the funds.

Documents are stored encrypted, are seen only by authorised verification staff and are used solely for the purpose they were requested for.

    4. Timelines and consequences

    • A complete file is normally reviewed within a few hours; in busy periods this can extend to 72 working hours.
    • While verification is pending, withdrawals stay on hold. Deposits and play are not affected.
    • If the documents are not supplied within the 14-day window or do not match the registered details, the account can be closed, withdrawals suspended and bonus balances cancelled.
    • Legitimate deposits that are not subject to confiscation are returned to the originating wallet when an account is closed.

    Terms & conditions

By creating an account or placing a bet you accept the conditions set out below. If you do not agree with any of them, do not use the platform.

    1. Requirements for opening an account

    • You must be at least 18 years old, or older where your province requires it, and legally able to enter into a contract.
    • You must act on your own behalf: playing for another person or letting a third party use your account is prohibited.
    • The details you provide must be true and kept up to date. An invalid email address makes it impossible to recover access.
    • Access may be restricted from territories where local legislation prohibits it. Checking that restriction is the user's responsibility.

    2. Account, balance and security

    • Login credentials are personal and non-transferable. Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is recommended.
    • The account holder is responsible for all activity carried out from the account while a session is open.
    • The gaming balance earns no interest and is not a bank deposit. Crypto balances are converted automatically to EUR/USD during play.
    • The platform may offset against your balance any amount credited through a technical error or a duplicated transaction.
    • Accounts with no activity for 12 months are treated as dormant and may be charged a monthly maintenance fee.

    3. Bets and market settlement

    • A bet is accepted only once it appears as confirmed in the bet history. The on-screen confirmation is the valid record.
    • Bets placed at an obviously incorrect price, after the real start of an event or with inside information can be voided and refunded.
    • If an event is suspended, cancelled or substantially relocated, the affected markets are settled under the specific rules of that sport.
    • If a technical fault interrupts a casino round, the round is voided and the stake is returned to the player's balance.

    4. Bonuses and promotions

    • Every promotion has its own terms: percentage, maximum amount, wagering requirement, validity period and the games that count towards it.
    • Bonus funds are released in instalments as you wager and must be cleared within the stated window (30 days for the welcome package and the Thursday reload, 7 days for the daily deposit bonus).
    • Bonus abuse is prohibited: multiple accounts, zero-risk betting patterns, collusion and the use of assistance software.
    • Bonus balance that has not met its requirement when the period expires is removed automatically together with the associated winnings.

    5. Suspension, closure and complaints

    • You can close your account at any time through live chat or by writing to support@vave.com. The available real balance is released once any pending verification is complete.
    • The platform may suspend an account for a breach of these rules and will state the reason to the registered email address.
    • Complaints are raised first with customer support, which is available 24/7/365, or by email to complaints@vave.com. Keep screenshots and transaction identifiers.
    • If the answer does not satisfy you, you can request a written second review of the case through the same support channels.

    Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data is collected when you use Vave Canada, why it is processed, how long it is kept and how you can exercise your rights over it. It follows the principles of Canada's federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the provincial laws that apply alongside it.

    1. Data that is collected

    • Registration data: nickname, email address and an encrypted password.
    • Verification data: government ID, proof of address and selfie or video, only when the KYC protocol is triggered.
    • Transaction data: wallet addresses, amounts, timestamps and on-chain transaction identifiers.
    • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, system language and access logs.
    • Gaming data: bet history, activated bonuses, VIP points, session length and interface preferences.

    2. Purposes of processing

    • Providing the service: opening the account, processing deposits and withdrawals and settling bets.
    • Meeting anti-money-laundering and age-verification obligations.
    • Detecting fraud, duplicate accounts, promotion abuse and unauthorised access.
    • Sending marketing communications, only with your consent and with an unsubscribe option in every message.
    • Producing aggregated statistics to improve the performance of the site and the mobile version.

    3. Retention and sharing

    • Account data is kept while the account is active and for the further period that anti-money-laundering rules require.
    • Verification documents are deleted once they are no longer needed for the purpose they were requested for.
    • Data may be shared with payment processors, live-game studios, anti-fraud services and independent auditors, always under confidentiality agreements. Some of these providers operate outside Canada.
    • Personal data is never sold to third parties for advertising.

    4. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access the personal information held about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw a consent you have given or to have data deleted where there is no legal duty to keep it. Requests are handled through live chat or support@vave.com and answered within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Deletion does not extend to information the operator is obliged to keep for regulatory, accounting or anti-money-laundering reasons.

    Responsible gambling

Gambling should always be entertainment, never a source of income or a way out of a financial problem. The house keeps a mathematical edge: over the long run, the expected result for the player is negative.

    1. Ground rules before you start

    • Set a maximum budget per session and never raise it, whatever happens.
    • Set a time limit as well, and keep to it even when you are winning.
    • Never bet money meant for rent, food, tuition or other financial commitments.
    • Do not try to win losses back by increasing your stakes.
    • Do not play under the influence of alcohol or medication, or at moments of emotional stress.

    2. Self-management tools available

    • Deposit, loss and wager limits: set on a daily, weekly or monthly basis by contacting support@vave.com. A lower limit takes effect immediately; raising a limit only takes effect after a waiting period.
    • Cooling-off periods: pause your account for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 6 months without closing it.
    • Self-exclusion: locks the account for 6 months, 9 months or 1 year and stops marketing messages. An active self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends.
    • Session reminders: periodic notices showing the time played and the net result so far.

All of these options are requested through customer support, which runs 24/7/365 via live chat and email.

    3. Warning signs

    • You play for longer, or with more money, than you had planned.
    • You hide from family or friends how much you play or how much you have lost.
    • You borrow, sell belongings or skip payments in order to keep playing.
    • You feel anxious, irritable or guilty when you cannot play.
    • Gambling has started to affect your work, your studies or your relationships.

If you recognise several of these signs, activate self-exclusion and seek professional help. In Canada, free and confidential support is available around the clock: ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) for players in Ontario, Gambling Support BC (1-888-795-6111) in British Columbia, and provincial health lines elsewhere. Vave also points players to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy for off-site support.

    4. Protecting minors

Registration is prohibited for anyone under 18, and under the higher minimum age that some provinces set. If you share your device, protect your session with a password and consider installing parental-control software. If you discover that a minor has accessed an account, report it to customer support immediately so that it can be blocked.

Gambling can be addictive. Play only with money you can afford to lose. 18+ only.
